Evil Eye Protection
Purpose
To neutralize unwanted attention, envy, or subtle negativity directed toward you by reinforcing your personal boundaries and clearing interference.
Expected Outcome
A strengthened sense of protection, reduced energetic disruption, and a clearer, steadier personal field that is less affected by external negativity.
When to Use
Use this spell when you feel watched, drained, unsettled by someone’s attention, or when your boundaries feel thin and need reinforcement.
Tools & Ingredients
Black or white candle
Small bowl or cauldron
Salt
Protective herb (rosemary, basil, or bay leaf)
Mirror
Paper and pen
Protection Circle
Optional — this spell reinforces boundaries rather than banishing.
Opening
Sit with your tools arranged before you.
Hold the mirror and imagine it as a quiet shield — clear, reflective, steady.
Place the mirror behind the candle so the flame reflects softly.
Take a slow breath and settle into the work.
Place the bowl or cauldron before you.
Add a pinch of salt to represent clarity and neutralization.
Write your intention on the paper, fold it once, and place it beneath the bowl.
Light the candle.
Hold your hands over the bowl and speak:
Speak: “Let what is not meant for me fall away. Let unwanted attention lose its strength. Let clarity rise between me and all that seeks to unsettle. Let my boundaries hold firm and steady. Let only what is true reach my life. With grounded intention and quiet resolve, let this protection settle around me now.”
Sit with the candle until the flame steadies.
Imagine the mirror reflecting away anything that does not belong to you.
Extinguish the candle gently.
Aftercare
Keep the folded intention paper beneath the bowl for three days. Refresh the candle once if needed.
Disposal
Scatter salt outdoors.
Compost herbs.
Burn or bury the paper after three days.
Safety Notes
Use fire safely, keep candles away from flammable items, and ground if you feel emotionally stirred.
Practitioner Notes
Record the spell in your grimoire with the date, moon phase, intention, and any sensations or results you notice.
